Veterinary Services

We offer caring, quality veterinary services. Dr. Anna Davies, one of the clinic's founders, is a Board Certified Internist in Veterinary Medicine - the only one in the Burnsville area. This specialized area of study ensures that diagnoses can be achieved more rapidly and more accurately. Dr. Davies is also available for consultations in internal medicine cases for area veterinarians as well as in-house consultations to the other veterinarians.

With continuing education, advanced equipment, experienced veterinarians and technicians, we seek to provide the finest in professional veterinary care. Listed below are some of the services the staff at Crossroads Animal Hospital can provide your pet:

We care for cats, dogs, and other small mammals (including but not limited to: guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, rabbits, and ferrets).

Medical care at Crossroads Animal Hospital starts with a comprehensive history taking and complete physical examination. We pride ourselves on having appointments that allow our veterinarians and our clients to have adequate time to ask and answer all the important questions necessary to best help define the pet's problems. We also emphasize the importance of educating our clients, so they fully understand what the differential diagnoses are, what tests we need to run, what treatments are available and once a diagnosis is made, the short and long term prognosis. We believe communication with the client is paramount to the successful treatment of the pet and building trust in the veterinarian, therefore we spend adequate time in the exam room with client, have daily phone communications for hospitalized patients and utilize phone callbacks to follow up on the progress of our patients at home.

Our policy at Crossroads Animal Hospital dictates that if a patient would benefit from a second opinion or a treatment modality we can not offer we readily refer them to another facility or a specialist that does.
