Crossroads Animal Hospital

Rx Refills

Prescription medicines and foods can only be dispensed if there is a current patient/client/doctor relationship. This is mandated by state and federal law.

Veterinarians at Crossroads Animal Hospital review all requests for refill prescriptions and after consulting the pet’s medical record will decide if the medication/food is appropriate to refill. If it is not, the pet will need an examination appointment. Obtaining prescriptions through our clinic ensures that owners are getting the safest and best medications at affordable prices.

Prescriptions can be refilled two ways:

1) By phone: Call the clinic at 952-435-2655.

2) By e-mail: Use our web prescription refill form Our e-mail system will be checked twice daily for refill requests. Please fill out a separate form for each medication refill request.

Please submit your requests by phone or e-mail at least 5-7 days in advance. We try to keep a reasonable inventory of commonly prescribed medications and foods, but as we have limited storage space, we appreciate your cooperation with this request. Also, special order or compounded medications can take longer.
